Summer’s Heat…


is just MUCH TOO MUCH!!! SUPER INIT!!! It’s not bearable any more. =(

Nakakahilo yung init in a way, it makes you just want to sit back, and relax with a nice cold fruit shake in your hand.

I’ve been feeling the heat more intensely today because of 2 reasons.

First is that we went to the beach today specifically in Subic, a resort called “Ocean’s View” and whenever you’re at the beach, expect to feel the heat whether your swimming or just hiding in the hut like what I did. Crazy weather, I feel that despite hiding from the sun…i still got darker or in a more sophisticated term, I got even more TAN.

Second is the work out I did after the nap I had when we got home. When we got home, my plan was to chill for an hour or so and then do my exercise. So I read my book, tried to relax and after a few pages I fell asleep. and when I woke up, I was not in the mood to exercise but I knew that I had to. So I started to change in my running attire and off I went to the treadmill. The hiphop/house/rnb songs I had in the play list certainly kept me going. hahah

The treadmill routine that I did — for 25 minutes, For the 5 sets of 5 minutes- The 4minutes was done in a running speed but I had 1 minute intervals to cool down a bit. so for exactly 25minutes I was able to reach 3 km. =) Then I did another 5minutes with slow speed to finally cool down. total of 30minutes and I burned 200 calories all in all. BUT IT FELT LIKE MORE SINCE my cheeks we’re burning and my body was sweating all over because of the HEAT! =)

I’m still happy I did get to exercise despite feeling so beaten up by the heat wave. =)

What I ate today:

Breakfast: 1 saging saba and 1 hand and cheese empanada

lunch: 1 cup of angel hair pasta with pine nuts, tomatoes and parmesan cheese (that’s super yummy made by my Aunt Edna) and 2 pieces of sliced grilled chicken.

Snack: 1/2 cup of macaroni salad and 1 small ensaymada and 5 slices of green mango

Dinner: 1/2 grilled bangus, 1/4cup upo with shrimp, 1cup chopped tomatoes with onions and 2 slices of grilled chicken. and 1/2 grapefruit.

P.S. I drank 1 cold lipton green tea, 1 fit n right four seasons and 1 glass of soya milk. drank a lot of cold drinks…it was just sooo hot. =)

Let’s all cool down with some ice cold water – para walang calories! hahaha
