The Luscious Red Fruit


is none other than APPLE!!!

Apple is one of those refreshing and quite thirst-quenching fruit, containing 80% water within.

For dinner tonight, to try a different recipe for my salad, I added APPLE and it certainly made a big difference.  My salad became tastier and the crunchy sweet taste of apple complimented with the salty fish fillet that was the topping for my salad.

SOME Nutritional Fast Facts about the fruit apple:

1.) It is naturally LOW in calories, approximately 80 calories each.

2.) It helps you control your blood sugar.

3.) Good source of fiber and potassium.

4.) It helps prevent ageing as it reduces the bad cholesterol in your body.

5.) Helps in washing away the toxins in your body.

So don’t forget to grab your apple for the day! =)

Work Out for the day: 30 min treadmill routine 3.5km 200cal. 3 sets of leg raising 10 reps each set. =)

What I ate today:

Breakfast: 1 cup home made pasta

Lunch: We ate at a Korean Resto, so I had some Kimchi, lettuce with bean paste, some grilled mckerel and hot tofu soup.

Snack: 1/2 cup of palabok and 1/2 slice of buko pie, 1 glass of pineapple juice.

Dinner: Salad (Tomatoes, slices of apple, steamed fish with cheese and mango vinaigrette for my dressing) yummy! =)

An apple will really help you spice things up with your salad and help you curve your craving for sweets!! So fill up your fridge with apples! It’s nutrition value doesn’t become less even if you have it stored for a long time. =)
