Finishing The Race

Some things in life are easier said than done, or for me – easier to write. May kasabihan nga ngayon – “drawing Lang” hanggang papel na lang. I made a list of the things that I wanted to accomplish before my birthday this year but so far I have only done 1 out of the 15 things that I have listed down. And  there’s only barely 2 months left before my birthday.

I am not so sure what I have been feeling lately but it’s definitely not peace nor happiness. I guess there have been too many reminiscing and looking back and assessing where and what I should be doing right now, but I can’t really dwell in the past nor think too much, I need to move forward and just do. Do things that I know will be good for me, do the things that will take me one step closer to my completing my bucket lists and of course part of my bucket list all boils down to the very reason why this blog was created, aside from my passion for writing it is the challenge of weight loss.

So I am back to square one and which is why I am feeling a bit frustrated but not defeated. I have not given up and in fact I am working out twice as much but i know it is not enough. I have barely scratched the surface of a healthier lifestyle but I am getting there…somehow… With the transfer of our new office in BGC, I need to wake up earlier and now I work out every morning. I don’t know if I can keep this up but one thing’s for sure – I will push on and finish this race.

ttyl,

Isis
