Dine at Vyne, It’s Divine!

I can’t help the title, it just rhymes! Me and my good friend Lorina decided to try Vyne located at the W Building in High Street (9th ave. cor 30th st) the restaurant is just beside the club Hyve. The ambiance in the place is really great. It has a classy and sophisticated style but also quirky with its art/drawings on the wall. I especially liked the the terrace/veranda setting in their extension outside. Perfect for just chilling and hanging out. We liked it so much that we took several photos:

After our “photo session”, we went back to our table, just in time for our appetizer.

We ordered their famous “Apple and Bleu Cheese Salad” (285php), it had bleu cheese, dried cranberries,  and honey yogurt dressing on the side. I liked this dish because it was light but still very flavorful. This is perfect for those in a diet. (which I am always in) The presentation and plating is a two thumbs up! #effort! I would rate it a 7 out of 10.

Our next appetizer was my favorite among what we ordered.  It’s called “Breaded Aji Tamago” (200php) The egg that they used is the egg you would expect in a ramen, they placed it on top of creme fraiche with smoked salmon and caviar. Yummy! I would give it a 9 out of 10.

Our main that we shared was the “Vyne Burger” (550php). It was a 200g beef patty topped with foie gras and mushroom ragout. We had it done medium rare as recommended. I would say it was okay.  Loved the foie gras though. I would give it a 6.5 out of 10.

We ended our meal with a glass of Sangria. It was just the right mix. I’d rate it a 9 out of 10! 🙂

Over all the dinner was good and I would want to try the other specialties that they have.  More photos of the interior inside the restaurant.
