Retail Exercise= SHOPPING!!!!!

The best or rather the most fun exercise to do for girls would be shopping!  It is an exercise because with shopping you walk for hours and hours in the mall and you actually burn some calories without even noticing that you are doing it. Plus the weight of the shopping bags serve as “weights”. But it is an expensive work out.  If you don’t have money then maybe window shopping would do.

I’m talking about shopping because I actually got into a little bit of retail exercise today. I went to downtown Manila today with my mom(her office is in Manila) to go to my dentist there( have my cleaning) and also to shop for corporate attires because I am running out of clothes to wear during job interviews. =)

And of course the best place to shop for CHEAP clothes and shoes is in 168/Divisoria. So I shopped/did my retail exercise for almost 2hours. Meaning I walked around for 2hours and carried the weight of 2 quite heavy plastic bags. It was fun while it lasted…let me rephrase that It was fun while my money lasted! Hahahahaha

But of course I won’t just settle with shopping as my exercise, I also did some BODY WEIGHT EXERCISES (B.W.E.) and some CORE exercises at home. I did some lunges with one hand lifting a 6lb dumbbell, bench dips with leg extended(done with a chair), leg raise and forward plank (1 minute endurance) I did each for 10 reps x 3 all in all. The first two are B.W.E. while the latter two are core exercises.

Body weight exercise is important for strength training while core exercises are for your ABS! yeah. =)

What I ate today:

Breakfast: ½ cup of pork and beans. 1 cup of cereal and low fat milk.

Lunch: ½ cup of crabmeat rice, 4 pieces of squid cooked in soy sauce and 4 pieces of spareribs with taro. And ½ grapefruit

Merienda: ½ portion of the traditional Chinese lumpia wrap. YUM! 1/2glass lychee shake

Dinner: Tossed some lettuce with tomatoes and grilled liempo cut into smaller pieces. Plus parmesan dressing to go with the self-made salad. And 1 glass of black gulaman drink and ¼ grapefruit.

I hope my future job salary will allow me to do some retail exercises! =)
