Be Brave Enough


I’m gonna be brave enough to weigh in tomorrow and see if there were any progress. I hate weighing myself, let’s face it sometimes weighing in just disappoints you especially when there is no change in your weight. BUT it can also work to our advantage especially to push us more to do something about it. So I’ll try to get back into SWIMMING!!…Cause swimming really helps! It is a whole body workout, it tones your arms, abs and the rest of your body. It can really improve your body posture plus it is really RELAXING. Something about just letting the water carry you and floating through it seems so soothing and calming.

Wouldn’t you love to swim in this pool? =)

Today was not a good day for me, I just felt so down and so I ended up bumming around the house just watching America’s Next Top Model series that I downloaded. After I took an afternoon nap. What a bum! kakainis! I won’t let this happen again. You will all know since I’m blogging about it. Anyway I felt better after doing my quiet time and reading a verse that really spoke to me in Exodus 33:14 ” My presence will go with you and I will give you rest” It really lifted my spirits. =) Leave it to God to know what words to be of comfort to us.

And on the brighter side I did some exercise, of course I didn’t want this day to end without me burning some calories!! so I walked around our compound for 5 rounds then I proceeded to do some improvisation of the stepper by climbing up and down our 2 flights of stairs for 100 times (50 up and 50 down) so I was really sweating at the end of it. After I did some stretching and 3 sets of 10 reps of leg raising.

What I ate today:

Breakfast: Kellogs Special strawberry K cereal with low fat milk

Lunch: Grapefruit and salad( tomatoes with fish) and slices of green mangoes.

Snack: 1 Apple

Dinner: 1/3 bangus, 1 cup of mixed vegetables with shrimp and some pork. I had 1/2 glass of buko sherbet, my sweet tooth just couldn’t resist but at least it’s just a sherbet which means it doensn’t have milk and other fatty ingredients in it as compared to an ice cream.

TIP OF THE DAY (given to me by my cousin Jason)

Have some GREEN drinks before you have your breakfast (at least 1/2 hour) and before you go to sleep. Example of Green drinks are: Wheat Grass and Barley. They are important for digestion and also to alkalise your body.

You can buy wheat grass in powder form, it’s actually available in Fruit Magic. =)
