Three Cheers…


FOR THE THREE POUNDS I LOST! whoohooo!

Good News!!!  I weighed myself today at the gym, and I found out I LOST THREE POUNDS!!!

My weight now is 127lbs.

I know it’s not a big number, but at least I have to start somewhere. =)

The gym trainer, who helped me get my weight assessment from their machine, asked me my height and my age. So I said I’m 20 years old and I’m about 5ft tall. Those were the basic questions they needed to encode in the weight assessment machine. And then I was shocked when he asked me kung may anak na ako…and I said, 20 years old pa lang ako, bakit mo ako tinatanong kung may anak na ako, malamang wala! Hahhaha what was that???  And he said, just checking and making sure in terms of the weight that I needed to lose etc etc. Hindi ko alam kung maiinsulto ako o hindi eh. hahahah

Today, after my job interview, I went to the gym to work out and really get my body to sweat! I know that sweating a lot doesn’t necessarily mean that you’re burning a lot of calories too, but it just feels good to sweat!

I did the stepper for almost 30minutes and burned 300calories. I also joined the group exercise called the “Body Vive” that lasted for an hour. It’s my first time to join this exercise and it was fun. Our instructor did a very good job of keeping everyone energized even through the tough parts of the routine. So in body vive we had to do the steps/dance while holding a ball to our stomach/chest. It was more for the core muscles as you bring the ball up and down and doing it with your hips and legs. We also had this stretchy equipment that looks like a jump rope but it has a handle, I don’t know what it’s called but you step on it and you pull the handles up and down like weights and the resistance when pulling it up really stretches your arm muscles. And we also did some lower body work outs with the equipment, quite excruciating actually, but as they say no pain, no gain. HAHAHAH  =)

What I ate today?

Breakfast: Cereal with low fat milk and 1 longganisa

Lunch: Sandwich composed of wheat bread, Italian sausage and mushrooms.(from starbucks)

Snack: Lanzones

Dinner: ¼ cup of squid, ½ camote, a spoonful of pork, 1 cheek of mango and more lanzones! =)

Going to subic tom with family and the company! =)

  1. hi isis~! wow, great job for being so consistent in your attempt in slimming down (and blogging)! it’s not an easy endeavor, so i’d like to encourage you to continue it~ congratulations on losing your first three pounds!
