Yes, the saying is quite true.
My body aches all overrrrrr…
I woke up this morning and I was supposed to go to the gym before doing Bikram Yoga, but my body wouldn’t cooperate, it was still sore from yesterday’s yoga workout. intense eh! But It’s okei that I wasn’t able to go to the gym because I was able to do Bikram yoga and SWIMMING!!! =) yeah! hahaah
So today, DESPITE OUR ACHING BODIES, me and Lienne did Bikram yoga again ( It was an accomplishment really, halfway through the session I wanted to give up but of course I had to finish the class! I had to, I paid for it and I was going to get my money’s worth. =) After we had lunch, We went to White Plains (where Lienne lives) and went swimming in their clubhouse pool. =) I did 20laps! whoohooo. Patay na katawan ko bukas.hahaha medyo lang siguro.
But as they say no pain, no gain, so I have to take in all the pain and work with it.
What I ate today:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with milo, low fat milk and slices of mango
Lunch: Apple, home-made salad (lettuce, tomatoes, grilled chicken, 1 hard boiled egg with mango vinaigrette dressing)
Dinner: 1 cup of repolyo vegetable and 1 slice of beef, 1/2 grapefruit and 1 kiwi.
TIP OF THE DAY:
DRINK GREEN TEA!! =) I read in a newspaper article green tea can help you achieve a SMALLER WAIST. Drink several cups of green tea throughout the day and pair it out with your work outs to and have a better result in reducing your belly fats. According to the article, a research was conducted and those who drank green tea with their routine exercises lose more weight meaning green tea really helps. The magic number said in the article is 7cups of green tea daily (just enough catechins and caffeine) Catechin and caffeine can help the body to improve its metabolism.
So there at least have 2 cups to start with. =)
Speaking of green tea, I love green tea flavored food/drinks (like Green tea Yogurt in red mango, Green tea frappe drink in starbucks and green tea KitKat- which is not yet available here haha) But must avoid these fake green teas they are high in calories, except the yogurt which is a healthier option than icecream!!! hahaha
